Dr. Torgerson prefers using this dermal filler product to help rejuvenate tired-looking eyes and dark circles.
Teosyal Redensity II is the first injectable filler of its kind that has been developed specifically for the tear trough area to address fine lines, dark circles, and deep hollows under the eyes. Combining hyaluronic acid and a dermo-restructing complex of vitamins and amino acids, Teosyal Redensity II is truly a unique injectable filler. Our patients have loved the results achieved with Teosyal Redensity II injections, and we find it extremely popular for those not yet ready for blepharoplasty (corrective eye surgery). The product lasts for approximately 9 months to a year. The injectable filler comes with Lidocaine in it, which is a freezing agent. This ensures that patients are comfortable throughout the injection process. Facial Plastic Surgeon Dr. Cory Torgerson is also the only one who injects at his Toronto clinic.
How Long Does An Injection Of Redensity II Take?
Redensity II dermal filler can be injected quickly and easily. Redensity II treatments can take as little as 15 minutes or up to 45 minutes. Typically 1 to 3 syringes are used for the under-eye area. The results are instantly gratifying.
Who Is Responsible For Performing Redensity II Injections At The Toronto Facial Cosmetic Clinic?
Dr. Cory Torgerson loves the incredible results from Redensity II and chooses to offer a boutique service to his clients in that he is the only one who performs the dermal filler injections at the Yorkville Clinic. When clients realize that the expertise and personal skill of a facial plastic surgeon is offered, they are confident that they will obtain the top Redensity II results possible. Dr. Torgerson employs his passion for medicine and artistry to create beautiful Redensity II outcomes. A regular keynote speaker and trainer across Canada for Dermal filler companies, Dr. Torgerson also enjoys demonstrating to others the latest injectable filler advancements.
Is The Redensity II Treatment Uncomfortable?
The under-eye area is delicate and thin-skinned, so it is natural to be concerned about the possible pain. However, the Teosyal Line of products is superior and has some incredible added benefits such as Lidocaine. Lidocaine is a product included with Redensity II that helps numb the area being treated. This means that the patient feels little to no discomfort during injections, and after the procedure, the freezing dissipates very quickly. Patients are usually delighted to discover how quick and comfortable Redensity II injections are!
How much time does a Redensity II treatment take?
When administered by an expert, Redensity II dermal filler is performed in a simple and straightforward way so that the whole procedure can be completed in under 15 minutes. Typically 1 to 3 syringes are used for the under-eye area, and the outcomes can be noticed right away!

Redensity II Injection Downtime
What Should I Expect For The Downtime After A Redensity II Injection?
The recovery following a Redensity II is minimal. Patients can expect that most of the swelling will occur for the first 2 days under the eyes. This swelling will decrease in the days following, although it is absolutely normal for some minor swelling to remain up to 14 days after treatment. Because the under-eye area is very thin-skinned and delicate, small bruises can occur. Patients are able to cover the bruises with makeup or find that they are barely noticeable. To decrease the possibility of bruising, our Toronto office recommends avoiding any blood-thinning medicines and supplements such as aspirin, vitamin E, and/or ginseng for 2 weeks before your Redensity II treatment, if at all possible.
