Pellevé is the cosmetic industry’s newest, non-invasive, rapid and effective skin tightening treatment which uses radiofrequency energy to reactivate collagen deep in the skin layers, reversing the signs of aging*and targeting wrinkles. Best of all, it’s pain-free and can target various parts of the body, including the difficult to treat delicate eye area, crow’s feet, lower eyelids, and wrinkled skin of the neck and chest*.

How is Pellevé different from other skin tightening procedures?
This Radiofrequency skin care technology has been used by dermatologists to tighten and smooth skin for over 25 years, however high radiofrequency or hRF is the latest technologically advanced method of maximizing collagen stimulation under the skin’s surface, to gain visible antiaging effects. This trustworthy FDA-approved anti-aging treatment is a powerful yet safe way to restore vibrancy and youthfulness to your appearance, without the need for invasive and painful procedures. Even more impressive is that the results are immediate and continue to improve over time.
Pellevé offers patients another option to reduce fine lines and wrinkles without needles, surgery or recovery time. A session typically takes only 45 minutes to an hour. In the four to six weeks following your initial treatment, the radio-frequency energy will cause collagen in the skin to increase and continue to plump and smooth the look of wrinkles. Additional treatment sessions will continue the cycle of collagen growth, so that the quality of your skin continues to improve and years are gradually erased from your complexion.
What advantages does Pellevé offer over traditional cosmetic surgery?
Pellevé is virtually painless and requires no recovery time, so it fits easily into busy schedules and can provide lasting improvement*. Many people are looking for a smoother, lifted effect without the need for incisions, scars and surgical recovery. It’s literally the no-nonsense lunchtime procedure we’ve all been waiting for. Unlike more invasive procedures that affect the top layers of the skin, the penetrating heat of the Radiofrequency treatment works primarily on the deeper dermis layer, without damaging the epidermis at the surface. Carefully directed heat is a stimulus that promotes tissue tightening. Deep at the dermis level, the soft body tissues will react to hRF, by compressing, realigning and producing new collagen and elastin to rejuvenate the skin. This process normally takes the body many months to slowly complete, but can be jumpstarted and accelerated with Pellevé RF skin remodelling treatments.
How do I know if Pellevé is right for me?
Our skin care specialists will assess your concerns and discuss whether Pellevé is right for you, based on your skin type, age, and your desired results. Unlike many lasers, Pellevé is safe for men and women of all skin types and tones, and can also be applied to tan skin.
Your one-on-one private medical consultation will allow you to share your goals and concerns, and discuss with an expert practitioner what treatments will offer you optimal results.
How Does Pellevé work?
Pellevé delivers constant, gradual, high radiofrequency energy to the skin, causing heat to build up where the skin and fat layer comes together. The increasing heat modifies the collagen bundles deep inside the skin, causing them to contract, and stimulating the growth of new collagen over time. This results are firmer and tighter skin*. The Pellevé treatment can be a very relaxing procedure that is sometimes described as a warm facial massage. Many patients report an instant “glow” post treatment, which has the bonus effect of providing warmth to the skin and tightening the complexion to look healthy and youthful. There is no downtime required following the Pellevé treatment, as the epidermis is left undamaged – so you can return to your regular activities right away. Patients will enjoy immediate results from the first session, which become visible around day 15 post treatment, and continue to improve for up to six months due to growth of collagen from hRF stimulation.
Patients have reported the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles of the face, lax, mild to moderate skin sagging, and youthful plump looking skin. Many people are seeking a low-risk yet effective non-surgical option to restore the youthful look of their skin. Pellevé is appealing for its effectiveness and painlessness. With no down time, it is the ideal treatment for many people. Scheduling your treatments every 3-4 weeks for optimal results is recommended. This revolutionary treatment can be used in conjunction with cosmetic dermal fillers and Botox, for comprehensive remodeling and revitalizing of the facial skin.
How long does the Pellevé procedure take?
Pellevé treatments will take anywhere from 30 minutes – for a targeted area such as the crow’s feet – to an hour, depending on the areas being treated. Treatment of the whole face will usually take approximately 45 – 60 minutes. First, a protective gel will be applied to the face. Patients say they feel a deep warming sensation when the Pellevé hand piece touches the area being treated; this is not painful but generally very soothing. No anaesthetic is used, so you will act as a guide to describe the depth of the sensation as the hand piece moves across your face*
What can I expect during and after the treatment?
What about after the procedure?
There is no recovery time needed after a Pellevé treatment. You may be slightly pink with mild swelling for a few hours. Most people have a post-treatment “glow” that adds an instant, youthful boost to the complexion. You can resume regular activities immediately*.
How long does it take to see the results?
One of the benefits of Pellevé is that you will see visible tightening and lifting after just one treatment. Your skin will immediately feel firmer and smoother as the texture and tone improves. New Collagen begins to visibly accumulate from the 15th day post treatment, and will continue to form – improving the smoothing, wrinkle-reducing effect over many months. A series of treatments are usually recommended to achieve optimum results*. You may also want to have additional treatments on occasion for long-term maintenance.
How long will the results last?
You will continue to see improvement for six months, and require only minimal maintenance after that.
